Client Brief

What we did

We designed his front garden so cars could enter at one end of the drive and exit at the other with plenty of parking in between.

Because the garden sloped down towards the road we banked it up using railway sleepers and created a bespoke large rock monolith water feature with a small inscription of three darts. We wanted to personalize his drive and so decided on creating a bespoke large dartboard and setting this in the driveway in front of the front door. The driveway itself was surfaced with resin bound gravel and this was used to infill the different colour areas of the dartboard.

In front of the water feature we created an area of gravel with rocks from a local quarry selected to match the brickwork of the house, and planted the area with low maintenance plants.

At the side of the house we designed an eye catching feature of three birch trees and two low maintenance areas of rocks, gravel and planting to match the front area and to prevent cars driving on the grass.
